Father/Son Campout June 2009

Luca, Noa and I had an awesome time camping out at Clear Lake with a ton of other dads and sons from church June 5-6. We roasted bratwurst and marshmallows and sang to the guitar and violin around the campfire. We collected feathers and went fishing with poles and nets. Our favorite was kayaking across the lake together and chasing a beaver around in it. Luca did a great job paddling, too! There was lots of other beautiful wildlife including dragonflies, goose families, various ducks and colorful birds, and unfortunately mosquitoes. There was a lovely beach we enjoyed playing and digging at as well. I sure love my sons and feel blessed to be their dad. :)

Our friends Jared and Isaac caught a little fish they later fried and ate as a family. :)
